The Copyright Society of Malawi (COSOMA) successfully held a two-day training program for its staff on Copyright and Related Rights from 5th to 6th June 2025 at Manac Lodge, Dowa.

This internal training aimed at strengthening staff capacity and equipping them with deeper knowledge and understanding of copyright principles, COSOMA’s mandate, and the legal frameworks that govern the administration of rights for creative works in Malawi.

The initiative is part of COSOMA’s continued efforts to build institutional efficiency and deliver better services to rightsholders and stakeholders alike. Staff members engaged in insightful discussions and interactive sessions that reinforced the Society’s commitment to excellence in copyright administration and COSOMA as a Collective Management Organisation.
